Chairpersons, NEDs & company founders converged upon the London Savoy Hotel to listen to Intechnica CEO, Jeremy Gidlow, and Avantia Group CEO, Mark Eastham, speak on driving EBITDA multiple through excellent use of technology.
The second Chairpersons’ Dinner, which took place on 1 November, offered an evening of fine dining, thought leadership and networking.
Mark Eastham spoke about Avantia’s journey and how they have created value by being a responsive business and creating useful distinct IP.
Mark said: “My presentation focused on providing insight into boosting business performance using the experience I have gained at Avantia, both good and bad. Sharing the knowledge, I gained by transforming the company into a customer focused, technology and data driven organisation with such an impressive group of chairpersons was a pleasure.”
Jeremy Gidlow said: “Achieving business growth through technology is challenging. Most organisations use technology as a resource rather than an enabler and very few can boast technology as a business differentiator. The challenge of achieving stability, security and reliability at the same time makes technology growth hard.
“I think the challenge of driving business growth through technology is the primary reason why Intechnica’s invite-only Chairpersons’ Dinners have been so well received. Both ‘Driving EBITDA Multiple with Technology’ and ‘Increasing Enterprise Value Through Technology: Lessons Businesses Can Learn from a Tech Unicorn’ have provided Chairpersons with first-hand real-world experience from industry-leading C level executives with a successful track record in Technical Transformation.”
Following the success of the 2018 Winter Chairpersons’ Dinner, plans are being set in motion to bring Intechnica Chairpersons’ Dinner to the North of England.
